Dear friends and customers, 

I like to introduce myself to all of you, who are not able to unterstand my homepage which is mainly written in german.

Since 2003 I have been sewing turnshoes the original way they were produced in the early Middle Ages in Europe. The vamps of my shoes are mostly made of goatskin, in the same quality, that the leather of the findings show us. Leather of goat breeds with a much thicker leather, which is tanned the old way without modern chemicals, is sewn only by hand. The soles are made of cattle neck. All shoes are sewn as close as possible to the patterns of the findings.

Since 2013 I started to produce replicas of jewelry made of silver. Whenever I found something interesting in a museum or documentation, I started to make a copy of that piece,-armrings, necklaces, fibulas or fingerrings, …

The textiles are woven by my wife. She’s a professional handweaver with plant dyeing skills.
